FP0R SeriesOur Mission is to Maximize Customer Benefits with Outstanding Products Enhancing Advanced Functionality and Performance. The Answer is FP0R, Superior to Basic Ultra-compact Models. The control unit is small at 90 mm 3.54 in in height and 25 mm 0.98 in in width. Even when expanded with three expansion units, the total width is only 100 mm. Multi-axis (4-axis) control is available without expansion units. The ultra-compact space-saving body size facilitates the miniaturization of target machines, equipment, and control panels. The number of I/O points is expandable up to 128 by adding three expansion units having 32 I/O points each to one control unit equipped with 32 I/O points. Only one cable is required for communications with the “Control FPWIN Pro” or “Control FPWIN GR” programming tool. Equipped with both USB 2.0 and RS232C ports. |
FP Impulse ControllerPanasonic Electric Works Corporation once again expands its line of PLCs with the introduction of the first contact Impulse Heat Controller PLC. The Impulse Heat Controller is ideal for small machines where space is a premium, yet, it is required to perform difficult tasks. The controller performs the task of precisely controlling the heating and cooling process to ensure a perfect seal. This compact controller has programming memory of 2.7K steps. Its temperature input range is between 22 and 1076 degree F with a 0.1 degree F resolution. The response of this controller is 18ms temperature update time. The controller has an outstanding PID algorithm for tight, accurate and repeatable seal quality compared to other controllers. This controller has a built-in Auto-Tune feature for quicker set up time. It features total machine control with built-in 8 digital inputs, 5 NPN transistor outputs, 1 relay output, and 2 Com ports for additional communication with other devices, such as barode readers, PC, HMI, etc. Programming can be done in plain Ladder Logic or using IEC 61131 software. |
FP-X SeriesThe FP-X PLC comes with a wide range of features suitable for most applications and is designed to save development cost. Ultra high processing speed of 0.32 µsec per instruction (executes a 5 Kstep program in 1.9 msec). Large program capacity of 16, or 32 Kstep exceeds the capacity of most compact PLCs. Expandable up to 382 I/O points, low cost coordinated motion, analog, and communication cassette options are also available. Excellent for communication applications with the ability to network 16 FP-X (master to master network), or 99 FP-X (master to slave network). Modbus RTU master and slave supported (will support up to 63 slave per master). Built-in 8 channels of high speed counters with speeds up to 10 KHz per channel (optional high speed counters also available with speeds up to 80 KHz). USB connection, built-in power supply, removable screw terminals are only a few of the well thought out features of the FP-X PLC. |
FP-e SeriesUser’s GuideFrom the makers of the first SLIM FP0 PLC, Aromat NAiS is proud to introduce the industry’s first panel mount PLC, the FP-e. This small (DIN 1/16 case) PLC has a built-in bright 3 color LED panel capable of displaying up to 5 digits along with predefined units. The function keys on the front panel can be used for setting TimersDigital & Analog Counters, Temperature Set Points, internal bits, regular data points, and can also be used as 16 additional input switches. Up to 6 screens can be programmed, and with our new wizard feature added to our FPWINGR programming software, this is even easier. |
FP2/FP2SH SeriesThe FP2SH is not only one of the smallest rack systems in the market, but one of the most powerful. The FP2SH can essentially be a motion controller. It can control up to 64 axes and output up to a 1MHz pulse train or 256 network servo axes. With a response time of less than 0.1 ms and a scan time of 1ms for a 20K step program, the total overhead delay for is only 2.2ms. The FP2 can currently support four types of networks: Ethernet, Profibus-DP, MEWNET and Remote I/O. It is possible to have up to 8 network units per rack, and all three can be supported at the same time. There are 2 types of Windows based 32 bit programming software available. FPWIN-GR, easy programming with powerful features and FPWIN-PRO, IEC61131 based object oriented programming. |
FPΣ SeriesMore advanced and complex control is required of PLCs in accordance with equipment functionality enhancements. The FPΣ is compact in size but equipped with a RISC processor that processes basic instruction at speeds of 0.32 usec/ instruction. Some of the features that results are super fast floating point calculation, built-in two axis of motion with linear/circular interpolation (expandable to 10 axes), easy PID instruction that supports up to 24 loops, 4 channels of built-in high speed counters, etc. The FPΣ can support up to 3 serial ports configurable for Modbus RTU, PLC to PLC networking, Mewtocol, and General Purpose (custom communication protocol). The FPS has a programming capacity of 32 k steps, and supports up to 384 I/O points. |
FP0 Series
Aromat NAiS established a new world standard “SLIM” PLC. Starting from 10 I/O to 32 I/O, the CPU is only 25(w) x 90(h) x 70(d)mm. This is about 1/4 the size of the traditional bulky PLC style called “Brick”. The FP0 NAiS PLC saves precious panel space and money. Relay output types have removable screw terminal blocks. The power supply connector is also quick to disconnect. Easy installation especially when duplicating many systems. Up to 16 loops of PID and auto tuning are built into this “SLIM” PLC. The FP0 uses floating point math for its PID calculation which is more accurate than an integer PID. With the new thermocouple input units, the FP0 can easily and accurately control temperature while controlling I/O. The PID values can be easy calculated with the built-in auto tuning feature. Up to 16 Auto Tuning loops can run simultaneously. The I-PD algorithm is also available to offer smoother control for sensitive applications. |
Data Logger Light (DLL) InterfacesPanasonic Electric Works is pleased to announce its new Data Logger Light (DLL). This new data logger has features that offer a more complete package with built-in power supply, and numerous communication connections. The data logger stores critical data with a time stamp, which can be utilized in applications that may require trend analysis. Also, since the logged files are recorded in CSV format, data can be easily imported in various software packages. Whether you need to control power consumption by collecting data from our eco power meters, or improve production yields by analyzing processing trends, the data logger is fully capable of satisfying your application requirements. Even if the DLL main unit is remotely located, it is possible to complete the setup of registered devices and conditions on a PC. |
